Plumbing Department consist of:

A grade III person is equipped with knowledge, skills and techniques on how to use appropriate tools and techniques which are needed to perform a job with efficiency and understanding. Grade III plumbing/ pipe fitting has one major area of functional competency in fitting of simple joints and associated projects in plumbing trade. The levels requires the operator to have basic principles, knowledge and practice of safety procedures, plumbing tools, equipment, machines, materials and plumbing works in order to perform to the efficiency and understanding- The following are the basic areas that are necessary to facilitate the operator to perform: introduction to plumbing, safety – personal and site, SI Units, tools and equipment, materials and components, sources of water, cold water work, sheet metal work, maintenance works and interpretation of drawings.

A grade II plumbing/pipe fitting has three major areas of functional competency which includes: pump and sanitary appliance installation, welding, roof wok and associated installation, costing of plumbingA grade II plumbing/pipe fitting has three major areas of functional competency which includes: pump and sanitary appliance installation, welding, roof wok and associated installation, costing of plumbing work.The level requires the operator to have acquired positive attitude, knowledge and practice of safe working procedures, plumbing tools, equipment, machines, materials and plumbing works, in order to perform to the desired standards in plumbing works and minimize on production costs.The following are the basic areas that are necessary to facilitate the operator to perform: Grade III skills and additional skills in fixing and fastening, pumps, hot water weathering, hard soldering. Brazing, gas service pipes, drainage systems, sanitary appliances, maintenance works service and estimation and costing.The level requires the operator to have acquired positive attitude, knowledge and practice of safe working procedures, plumbing tools, equipment, machines, materials and plumbing works, in order to perform to the desired standards in plumbing works and minimize on production costs.The following are the basic areas that are necessary to facilitate the operator to perform: Grade III skills and additional skills in fixing and fastening, pumps, hot water weathering, hard soldering. A grade I person is equipped with knowledge and skills at an advanced level in pump and sanitary appliances installation, welding, roof work and associated installation, costing of pluming works.With Grade III & II knowledge and skills acquired, the students are trained to have advanced skills to a competent plumber: hot water supply/solar water heating, sheet metal, welding, maintenance works and service, interpretation of drawings and estimation and costing.
